What non-instrument supplies does my student need to be successful in band?

Accepted Answer

Required: A black 1 1/2" binder (w/ Cover), 5 Dividers, Pencils and a pencil pouch are required and will help keep your student's materials organized and in one place.  On the first day of school, all students will receive a black binder, with a cover sheet, dividers and pencil pouch.  After beginner band it is the responsibility of the families to replace any broken or lost items through 8th grade.

An Instrument: It is recommended to buy/rent your own from a music store. These are usually new and work better than school owned instruments.  Please speak to us if you cannot rent your own instrument from a store.
